PACS Portable Aircraft Communications System
PACS is a compact, portable dual Iridium based unit that combines several communications features in one unit. It is a derivative of the ACG-801 and Link2Mail products and designed to provide passengers and crew with voice, email, text on their smartphones/tablets plus a file server for custom applications such as credit card billing, advertising, flight tracking, wireless IFE and passenger information. Dual Iridium tranceivers and VoIP allow multiple simultaneous calls.
Certification issues are avoided as the unit is portable and designed to run off standard 115VAC or 12VDC or 28VDC.
